Due to contingencies such as insufficient disk space, you may want to change the installation directory of the Hotpoint. Here's a simple way of doing it;
First, following through Hotpoint->Manage Portal->Configure Agent->Stop we stop our running NormShield Hotpoint Agent service.
Second, cut the NormShield directory under C:\Program Files(x86)\ and paste it under F:\, which is the example destination drive that we want Hotpoint installation to move. It may change for your environment. This cut/paste process may take a while due to the size of \Backup ve \Download and various \Log directories.
Third, using the registry editor (regedit), under path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\
Fourt, if any, update the paths of any shortcuts you created on the Desktop or anywhere else.
Fifth, restart the Hotpoint Agent service under the Services Windows snap-in.
Lastly, to check everything is smooth, you may trigger a Portal/Agent Update process through the Hotpoint.
