Port Graphs

Open ports increase the attack surface and keeping them under control is a must.

The first graph shows the distribution of vulnerabilities living in ports filtered with Urgent and Critical level vulnerabilities.

NormShield produces the following graph if only portmap feature is installed and configured to be used.

The graph below shows the top 10 ports that are open on the assets found by port scanning.

There are vulnerabilities living on services through the open ports. The following two graphs show the ports that have the most risks (NormShield risk score) and vulnerabilities. The risk score and vulnerability severities, while not independent, should not be mixed together. The vulnerability severity affects the risk score as a quotient with the priority (asset's value). So if the assets are given appropriate priorities when they are created, these two graphs will produce two meaningful and different images.
