The asset creation process is flexible. Through the Asset->Asset List submenu, previously created assets can be listed as shown in Figure 1.

New assets dialog interface can be shown by pressing New Assets button. Figure 2 shows new asset dialog for a user with root role. Different roles will see different components according to their privileges. For example while a root user can select the company under which the assets will be created, a company administrator can only create assets under his/her own company, which is natural.

Priority |
A criticality level for the asset denoting how critical this asset is for the company. This value is being used in NS Risk Score section. |
Note For Auditor |
A descriptive note for the assets and for the auditor for convenience. The note may include descriptive text, or username/passwords for the application or the possible times of scans or links that should be excluded in the scans etc. |
